well 1) taking away 3*s from all cavs will result in chaos and terrible spending rates assuming that prices don't change 2) the odds were actually increased a while back and are now a lot better than before 3) if i ever open cav crystals, i'm hoping for a 4* dupe. one because i know i'm not going to get a 5* or 6*, and two because i need iso. if they make iso more available, then cav crystals that have 3*s will be bought less
As above ^ As lovely as it'd be to not see 3* in the crystals the gulf between spenders and non-spenders would be truly ludicrous, even the likes of BG - the top 0.001% of F2P - wouldn't be able to keep in top alliances. As a small spender - July/Black Friday - I can keep up fairly well at the moment, though I acknowledge that I've been pretty lucky with my pulls.
If a Cav crystal guaranteed a minimum of 550 5* shards (because let's be real, most people have most 4* max sig, especially if they're dropping money/units on Cavs), then every time you buy one of those early access bundles you're getting ½ a 5* as a minimum the champion acquisition will go through the roof.
