Is Prof-X Overrated?

I know many prof-x fans are not gonna like this post but I just want them to be objective. I read many things about prof-x watched many videos and I couldn't find a great use for him other than some longer content like abbys. Couldn't find a video on youtube showcasing his potential other than abbys. I have him as a 6 star duped and eventually gonna rank him up but I just think of the use of prof-x. He has some stuff like evade countering but I already have mole man and other evade counters. What is he really I mean really good for other than abbys or longer content making him special?

He counter's a lot of paths in act 7 (that has evade, require prowess and has miss)
His synergies support the mutant class
You can use (1) sp1 rotation and get 6-8 prowess then end 500k health pool's with 1sp2 (Like a 1-2 minute ramp)

I own a 6* r2 sig 20 Prof X. And he is pretty good. His persistent charge boosts another mutants. He is good against nodes that require Prowess (there are couple in Act 7 + Cav EQ). Then the said evade counter. Also his synergies are pretty good. Also reversed controls immunity.

The trouble that you've hit is, that you don't need his utility, because your roster has that area covered by other champs. If you didn't have Molegod, you'd value Prof X higher.

At one point your roster gets so developed, that you have nearly all the holes filled. All troublesome areas covered. Then you start to rank up champs who are either good, even tho they don't bring any new solutions, or champs who are fun to play. For me, Prof X is fun and I ranked him up. I have r3 Falcon+Symbiotes+Nick, so I don't need evade counter. But Prof X is unique and looks great so why not tbh

Not overrated at all. Usually finds a place on my team if I have space after counters. I can kill anything 250k and below with one cycle of three sp2s. Anything over and I’ll do an sp1 rotation that gives me 7-8 prowess, and the next sp2 cycle kills them off.

I have champs that can do everything prof-x does who are already ranked up. I will rank him up for sure at some point, just wanted to know your opinions about him. I just don't rank him up for now because I don't have a specific use for him. If I find something that only prof-x can do, why not? It's hard to find resources to rank up 6 stars, that's why I sleep on it for now.

Don’t rank him before you play him or if you don’t enjoy him, otherwise you’ll just have wasted resources on a champion you don’t feel like playing. I’m not saying he is bad by any measure, but my point is that you should not rank up based on “hype”

I took mine to r3 for throne breaker, I must admit I soon had doubts as I'm more of a player who likes to see big yellow numbers and thought maybe I should have gone with sunspot. However I used him constantly in aq as a way of getting used to him, still not perfect with him but I understand him more now and I'd say he wouldn't be your worse choice.

???, one of the best evade and miss counters in the entire, full reverse control immunity, falter fail safe, non contact attacks on almost every hit, insane damage output not to even mention some of his broken synergies.

He's one of the best counters for some of the trickier AW placements like mix master korg on that shared mini, can take down a good amount of aq lanes like pull, mix master and I believe can't touch this is the miss path.

He's one of the best counters for big bosses like the grandmaster and gwenpool, I used him all the time in map 7 with full modifiers and plat war even though i run full suicides which make him significantly worse.

I can completely understand not personally liking him because he does have a fairly unique playstyle but objectively he covers enough content to completely deserve his hype

ProfX is a champ you need to put effort on mastering... He absolutely obliterate so many aspect of the game.
He isn't cgr 5 hit combos sp2 and done. Gotta learn to keep his prowess up and the cycle running while spamming satisfying specials.

One thing I just don't like is that new players fall in the trap.. skills are a major factor in case of X and newer players face hard time using him effectively and can't keep up with the unique play style.

Just like tigra ghost quake, if you are efficient with the technique nothing can stop you.

All n all, PX is damn fun.
