Gifting Event - Alliance Event or just Solo Event?

FrydayFryday Member Posts: 1,335 ★★★★
Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone could help reminding me if the Gift event milestone are Solo or Alliance based?

I reason I ask is that, currently in my Alliance, we got about 8 - 10 active members (even though we got 30 members), who is carrying the whole Alliance through in Events, AQ and AW. That is because we have quite a few key/main/high PI members that have not logon for a long time now (between 7 to 25 days, including the leader), because of the current state of the game and lack of support from Kabam. We are still sticking with the Alliance, stay loyal and don't mind carrying the Alliance, because everyone are really good people, all been there for a long time, and have always been supportive and balance with game and life.

However with something like the Gifting Events, if it is a Alliance events then there is no chance we could achieve anything with just 8-10 player (maybe less by then). Hence why I asked, if it is Solo Event then great, I will continue staying with the Alliance until it die.

Any info would be appreciated, many thanks in advance.

    Hi @GarrettN

Thank you very much for your quick reply. I was afraid of this.

I don't even bother with ranking part, just thought I would try to get the milestones, because really struggles with ranking material (because of the lack of participants in AQ with only 8-10 players).

Really don't want to leave the Alliance and good fellow players.

Anyway many thanks for your reply.

There’s both but to get the alliance event rewards you have to put in a certain amount of points for each milestone so that could push them to help out

That’s even if this event returns. I’m pretty sure rob vonshoe confirmed it wasn’t going to return. I would like to think Kabam are too greedy and will let it return but that’s just what he said so here’s hoping greed wins. After all, greed is good - Gordon Gekko

Hi @Ace2319 , the people in the Alliance are generally very helpful and supportive, it just that they stop logging in because of all the problem with the game and Kabam, these are around 1.5mil PI accounts and stop logging in for about 14 days onwards, so there is a high chance that they have left the game.

Just a shame to see the long time Alliance dying.

But thank you to everyone on sharing the info and feedback.

Unfortunately that’s what happens to lots of alliances and most long time players have seen it at least once. I believe if the leader is inactive for a certain period you can contact support and they will promote someone else to that spot and allow the alliance to go on. Think it’s 60 days but usually the alliance is dead by that point so it rarely comes into play
