Alliance Wars and Quests What are they?

Can anyone help me find out what they are and how they can help me?

    The basic idea is that you join an alliance and participate in both and get rewards. You get shards and from AW (maybe a few rank up materials) and get "glory" from AQ which you use to buy rank-up materials. That's about as basic as I can think to describe it, I hope that helps.
