Gifting event start should coincide with the 14 day alliance requirement but also AW season rewards

Just a post to see if there's any way Kabam would consider modifying the 14 day requirement for being part of an alliance to coincide with when AW rewards come out and everyone does the monthly shuffle to new alliances during the recruitment days. Especially since there's definitely a lot of summoners who would be planning to move to a more gifting focused alliance during the event.
I know the delay in being able to participate in the event and help the alliance ranked rewards might only be a day or 2, but it really does seem like a poor oversight on Kabam's planning these events out.
Reduce the requirement from 14 days to 12 days and should give everyone the full 2 weeks to start off gifting at the same time. It would suck to have a whole lot of units to gift in exchange for other gifts and by the time you get to start participating the big spenders in your alliance blow their unit stash within the first couple days and you don't have to opportunity to get the full gifting/exchange benefit just because you were waiting for AW rewards to move on.
Just something to consider since my Alliance last year did the majority of their gifting unit dumping in the first few days, and then it trickled out for the rest of the 11 days as units slowly showed up.
