When is it safe to open gold crystals?

So today at 1p.m. EST time I believe the gold increase by 30% will be live. Due to bugs and maybe potential server crashes from everyone opening over 5 million crystals when would you say it’s safe to open your gold crystals?

    At 1pm EST as you’ve said, but wait for official confirmation regardless just in case it doesn’t happen to plan would be my advice!
