Missing most of my Sinister synergy cavalier shards

So I have been saving EVERY sinister cavalier synergy shards since this months EQ started. I must have saved up around 24k shards. I was waiting to save them and open them all in one go… howeve I went to check my total this evening and I only have 9.5k. Where have they all disappeared to?

I have completed every event/quest etc so far needed to collect shards to date

Please help…anyone else had this issue? these shards disappearing is very disconcerting. Where have all my had earned shards gone to?

    Correction. I would have had 40k ish…

    53,500. Just added up EQ side events “a sinister celebration” 4 difficuculties x 3 3 chapters and Sinister six assignment solo quests for 2 weeks.
