King Groot in Cav EQ

King Groot is on one of the power drain paths in this month's cav EQ 2.2. The only problem is that he' s immune to power drain. I know that you can just bring in a typical counter for him, but what Avenger champ are you supposed to use against him here to use the nodes as intended? Am I missing something or is the answer just bring a good mystic and ignore the monthly nodes?

    This eq has been very questionable as far as match ups go. Any mystic attacker should be able to take him. As far as the nodes go there are usable champs. King groot is immune to power drain and power burn, however he isn't immune to power lock and avengers champs gain a fury when they apply one with the nodes. My guess is they intended for players to use either gladiator hulk, og scarlet witch, or hulkbuster for that fight all of who have acess to a power lock in their kits.

    ahhh, thanks. The only one of those I have as a 5* or 6* is Gladiator Hulk so I ended up using Symbiote Supreme.

    I didn't think Gladiator Hulk's enervate counted as a power lock. Have you tested the enervate out on the nodes?

    Its a curve ball that they throw, they have done it already to make the path more difficult or interesting
    Few months ago i remember one that had unblockable specials and they put Red Guardian on it

    Oh, my bad gulk wouldn't work because it's enervate so just HB and SW
