Hitting Cav Title during gifting event

I was pushing through 6.1 and was trying to finish to get my Cavalier title before the gifting event. Unfortunately I couldn’t make my personal cutoff which was prior to this event starting. My question is, if I get the Cavalier title during the event, will that change anything for me? Or am I still stuck with Uncollected rewards? Also is there any difference between the rewards from Unc to Cav? I want to know if it’s worth my push in the crunch of time of the event. Or if I’m just stuck with uncollected rewards.
