Aw season 32 incorrect tier already

Dear kabam,

We ended season 31 on tier 3.
During off season we won 5 out of 6 wars, and during the last two wars the rewards we got were from tier 4.

Now the season has started, the game is showing that we are in tier 4.

I am assuming this is an error/bug, as we should not be dropping a tier during off season, and also surely it should be impossible to drop a tier anyway if you win 5 out of 6 off season wars...

Please can you fix ASAP, as this will be extremely costly pointwise and position wise.

Thanks

    Current tier as game shows.

We had a similar issue. At end of season we were at tier 4 and we were dropped down to 5. We did not heavily participate in the off season. But that because we were under the impression that off season does not have an effect that ranking.

We won all but one of our off season wars, so if off season counted, we should go up a tier not down.

    So I'm assuming it's just a bug.

The other issue is that we were solidly in t3 at end of last season, bouncing between t2 and t3. At the moment, we have won our first war in season and bounced back to t3. But that does not reflect our true position still. The buffer that comes with being able to lose some matches whilst maintaining your tier level is critical for the scoring. If we lose the next aw we will drop to t4 again most likely. But it should be that we remain in t3 for at least 3-4 lost wars before we'd drop to t4. So that's a huge difference in potential points.

    Example

    4 fights bouncing between t4 and t3

Start in t4 win to t3 189,500 score
    Multiplier x4.5 = 852,750

    In t3 lose to t4 159,500 score
    Multiplier x 6 = 957,000

    In t4 win to t3 189,500 score
    Multiplier x4. 5 = 852,750

    In t3 lose to t4 159,500 score
    Multiplier x 6 = 957,000

    Total score after 4 aw = 3,619,500

    Vs
    4 fights in t3

Start in t3 win remain in t3 189,500
    Multiplier x 6 = 1,137,500
    Lose in t3 remain in t3 159,500
    Multuplier x 6 =957,000
    Win in t3 remain in t3 189,500
    Multiplier x 6 = 1,137,500
    Lose in t3 remain in t3 159,500
    Multuplier x 6 =957,000

    Total score = 4,188,000

    Missing points
    568,500

    % of points missing
    13.6%

    .................

Just to confirm, we won our first in season war.

    Score 189,900

    So currently we are at

854,550 score due to incorrect Multiplier due to wrong tier (tier 4 is x4. 5)

    Actual score should be

    1,139,400

    Missing points

284,850 - and that's from one war alone.

And we have gone from. T4 back to t3.

So this first scenario is actually playing out for us.

So if we win, lose win lose and bounce between t4 and t3, by end of season we will be missing 13.6% of our points.

Assuming it's a 12 war season, we will miss out on 1,705,500 points.

    Our score will be

    10,858,500

    Instead of

    12,564,000.

1.7 million points missing is equivalent to

    2 extra t4 wins
    1 t4 win 1 t3 loss
    2 t3 losses

So essentially the effective worth of 2 extra wars we are missing out on based on the t4 t3 bounce scenario

So its like everyone does 14 wars and gets points. And we are only allowed to do 12 wars.

2 wars worth of missing points is a lot in a season.

And as you can see, we are now in t3

We’re having same issue; we are showing t6 in the “War Room” tab, but t5 in the “Season” tab. We were t4 for our final war of last season (loss), and t5 for our first war this season (loss). No way one loss should drop us to t6 now.

We are showing 5 in both, couldn't select defense tactics or bans.

Same here. By winning the last war of the past season, we jumped from t5 to t4. During the off-season we dropped back on t5. Shouldn’t happen though… but alright. After winning the first war of the current season, we climbed back on t4 again - as it was shown in the “war room” tab as well as in the “season” tab. While this war had entered the attacking-phase we’ve stayed on t4 in the “season” tab, but dropped on t5 in the “war room” tab. And guess how the war has finally been rated? Right… as a t5-war 🙄

I can't guarantee this is what you are seeing, but it IS possible to move tiers without even fighting in a war.

Tier is percentage based if I remember correctly, and alliance candidacy for inclusion in the total number can change.

If there are some weird matchups in off season due to 1 and 2 bg wars you can move tiers…

For example a top t4 alliance matches a t6 alliance but fights on the t6 map, the t4 alliance war rating will change because t6 and below map isn’t frozen… so in theory the t4 alliance can gain war rating and displace you from t3.

This has been going on for years but still never gets addressed. It’s completely unfair.

Maybe not a bug, IT can be percentage of total numbers od alliance changes if they change rapidly. Many od u have worse tier than before...
