Device is hotter after updated 34.0.0

I noticed that after updating to 34.0.0, my phone got warmer quicker when playing MCOC. Which then seem to have affect the game input more, with more missed dex and parry.

Have to turn the phone off, let it rest about 20mins before trying again.

Does anyone have a similar problem?
