    i recommend you complete the content that you haven't completed. unless, for some reason you've completed every single piece of content in the game

    Kabam have gone on record saying they're not in a rush to develop Seven Stars and so the middle ground they are looking to develop would be relics or "Gear" to be used in certain content.

    Plus they're not going to stop adding new Champions and they are not going to stop buffing Champions (even if the road did get a little longer) so people still have a lot of hunting to do.

    They're kind of inevitable if the game is going to continue.
    I'd prefer if Relics took the place of 7*s. Could make for more customization. You can only keep hunting the next star for so long before it becomes saturated.
