would seeing the rewards for the upcoming Eternity of Pain and what the Battlegrounds Store rewards will look like (and how the currency will be accumulated/scored) make you feel better about the Paragon announcement?

That could give people an idea of if Paragon is even possible for them in the coming months.

    That clarity is important. SOP was structured in a way that guaranteed the progression title if you had beaten the GM. I don’t see how they can manage that here though.

    I don’t know if they even would have finalized those rewards now, but I’d be interested in seeing what people expect from something like a new and improved summer of pain.

    (Also a valid way for the community to give feedback and set expectations for Kabam)

    Yes. Battlegrounds store rewards really should be shown at this point…

    Hopefully this is the last beta an he next release is final. Loving this game mode. Can’t stop playing it

    It's kinda foolish to expect transparency from them as we know we ain't gonna get it
    The best we get is translucency & even that is a rare occurrence

    Oh we know better than to expect it. In this case, just asking for it. Battlegrounds is cool, but it also “requires” rank ups that may be outside your norm so you’re already using resources for it. Would be nice to know what the potential rewards for those commitments will be. And knowing what rewards are coming in EOP could allow players pushing for Paragon to make decisions on content and even spring cleaning deals.

    You can ask for transparency, however, I've noticed Kabams version of transparency (based on what they have promised in past then didn't follow through well) is comparable to Kabams version of "coming soon".

    Kabam uses the words coming soon often (bases coming soon, new masteries coming soon, wish crystals coming soon, etc) but what they consider coming soon isn't what most of us consider coming soon, much like what they consider "transparency" isn't what most of us consider transparency.

    That’d make too much sense lol. Honestly, based on the title, what would be REALLY dope (and NEVER happen lol) would be if it truly lasted forever… if there was a new “painful” challenge dropped weekly from here on out. Would definitely be something cool to look forward to every Wednesday.

    That'd be amazing, but it will never happen. And even if it did, the rewards would have to be small so as to not to ruin the game economy

    I agree. Assuming they’d be crazy difficult, super niche fights, something like a 5/5/5 reward would be cool. 5k 6* shards, 5000 t6b fragments, 5000 t3a fragments.

    I did an awards suggestion last post lol. I think that’s small enough not to ruin anything. On top of that, the fights would often lead you to rank up a champ who may otherwise be sitting at r1… with all the abilities they’re putting into champs, would be easy with nodes to limit the pool of effective champs for a fight… would just need them not to make it SO niche that there’s literally only 1 answer for it.

    They don't announce things until close to release. It's also a safe bet if they're introducing Paragon, people will be able to achieve it eventually.

    Kang manipulates time. It’s SOP-style fights and eventually one or more kangs get involved.

    those with paragon really don't need more t5cc, they'll take it but it won't be anything to get excited over imo
