We just started a new alliance but everyone in here has been either G1 or P4 the past few seasons in other alliances, so the question is.. Hypothetically speaking, say if we end up winning all of our wars, what do y'all think the highest rank we can achieve is?

The highest rank you can achieve is 1.

Yeah I know that, but if we win all of our wars for this season and being a new alliance, do you think we can at least make it to Gold 1?

I don't think so. You probably won't move beyond tier 9 yet, so Gold 3 is probably the max.

I have done this 2 times in my playing years. You can reach Silver 1.

It depends on what tier you started in compared to others. The higher the tier, the more points per war.

you have to remember its not about how many wins, its about how many POINTS you get. you can win 1 bg seasons worth and only get like bronze or yu can do 3 bg seasons worth and get silver. full exploration and bosses being defeated are where the points come in for the most part.

Missing the point. He said started a new alliance. So War Rating is starting from scratch, and wanted to know how high they could reach in the first season.
Assuming they have enough people brought over from other alliances to completely explore all paths (remember, low Tier maps only have 6 lanes, not 9).

Only times they might run into problems getting full explore wins would be if encountering a similar “new+strong” alliance also moving up from ground zero.

I wonder however if the mechanism for determining how many WAR RATING points you get each war might hinder a rapid advancement or WR for new alliances of strong players. Potential +/- of WR for a war is based on the odds of winning a war (basically the more lopsided the difference in alliance Prestige/Strength, the more lopsided the difference in +/- between winning/losing). A severely mismatched low-prestige team will not lose very much WR as a result of a “guaranteed” loss, but also means that the winning strong team doesn’t get very much WR increase either because it was such a forecasted lopsided win for them.

So a climb from 0 in War Rating might be a very long climb at the beginning.
