It imbalanced gold economy for many in their game. For any progressive player, there isn't enough ways to get gold in this game other than arenas you say.

If those deals were too expensive for them, why did they buy them?
Gold and units are just currencies, if you are short of one, save don’t spend.
I thought the gold deals were great, I always have more gold than units.
I still have more gold than majority of the playerbase or progressing players.
I bought the deals and It didn't affect me like it affected most of you.
But , If you know ranking up 6* champs to r3 and r4 and then level maxing them demands alot of gold. I do many r2s & r3s each month and It would be a lie if I will say that I am even getting half of the gold back than what I am spending each month. Its a loss adding up each month. But , at the end of the day , I know very well how to manage my resources and limit my rank ups.
@Rillian Try and read my comment again please. I mentioned very clearly "Progressive players". I ain't among those. I have 100% everything in this game OR you can say endgame player. I talked about players like you , not me.
Players need to understand the long and short term effects of buying such deals. It didn't affect me much but it can affect "many" as I said in my original comment.

Sure, that’s why I used them in the first paragraph, and the you in the second is not singular, but plural and general. Any misunderstanding merely an aftershock of the great thee/you dumbing down a few centuries back.
Resource management is a learning curve, if you only learn by getting burnt, you’re bound to get burnt at some point.
I haven’t 100% the game, still a long way to go, but with 70 million gold it’s simply not a resource I have to actively manage anymore.
You try , you learn. Its better to learn resource management by going through the flaws rather than saving your resources , lagging in the competition & keeping account in a static condition.
You have way too much gold, keeping in mind that you still have a long way to be an endgamer. You will never have to worry for gold as you progress & that's great . Better to invest that gold rather than collecting it so that you can progress in the game & conquer every possible thing you are lacking in.
