So with the end of the beta coming later on today .. is there any timeframes before we will see this mode again, whether that be in the form of another beta or official release?

Also an update on when the friendly mode will be going on would be appreciated too!

I've enjoyed this mode and eagerly await it's return 👌

    Are you referring to challenging specific players? That would definitely need a beta. Not sure what else needs testing at this point. But looking forward to this mode bc my alliance wants to do 5-star tournaments within our ally for fun (some of us have far better rosters than others, which is why we're gonna do 5 stars).

    I really hope the next beta has the option to challenge friends/ally members, as other have said ... its got to be the only thing left to test

    How many more betas? When can we expect a full release? Is this entire year just going to be a beta…
    I know I would rather have more betas if it means a better end result, shame about having to use energy for the beta but what can you do lol

    Maybe not. If it is completely voluntary (and it presumably would be) and there aren't any material rewards (of any significant amount) then in a sense that feature could be in test mode forever (unless it started causing the entire game to crash or something).

    To put it another way, what would be the difference to players between a beta test challenge mode and a live challenge mode?

    Appreciate the update Jax

    But it’s super disappointing to hear about another beta?! In coming months :#:# which means god knows when. It’s one of the most exiting things to happen to the game since, maybe alliance war came out. If it’s going to be months before we see it again, it better have addressed the huge problem with modders , which isn’t just a battlegrounds issue. If players see the same nonsense in the next beta, after waiting X amount of months, it’s really going to make us question why we had to wait and if Battlegrounds are worth all this time and effort.

    I hope for the best but remain skeptical.

    That said, I dont support the energy cost in the beta, either give us refills in the objectives or create a new energy source, wasn't overly fond of having to decide where to use my energy

    im really glad that i tweaked my roster so much with bs rank ups i didnt even want but were good for this game mode that just got yanked out from under our feet after months of build up thanks alot kascam but seriously this is some buulshit

    I actually think Kabam doesn’t have the skill sets to create this mode

    If they officially released it tomorrow and it was riddled with bugs you'd be on here moaning that they should of done adequate testing before launch .... which, guess what? That's exactly what the beta is for. I support more betas if it means a better end result.

    I hear what you’re saying but we’re going to have 4 betas now, at minimum and that’s not counting the CCP beta. Doesn’t that seem like a lot? What exactly changed from betas 2 and 3? I noticed no change at all and they’ve yet to even implement the ability to match with a friend. The games going to be bugged or have problems no matter what so more betas is just dragging this out IMHO. If beta 4 is more of the same, it’s going to be very disappointing if we had to wait “months” for that.

    Doesn’t matter if it’s labeled beta or actual release, I’d just be happy to have them.

    I guess that the beta would be temporary and have a subsequent disappearance from the game until the next beta.

    IMO the mode is ready for permanent addition to the game.

    It seems that we're targeting a return to beta in July, but those dates could still change.
    There are some changes we would like to make, most notably to matchmaking; each beta helps us add polish the final game mode.

    Great question!

    We're looking to make friend v friend matchmaking part of BGs, but it's uncertain at this time if the feature will be included in the next beta.
    As always, plans can change, but we're hopeful to see the feature in the future!
