When are you going to optimize the graphics for android?

It cannot be that in an Apple from 4 years ago the game has better effects than in a recent high-end Android. It would be nice if they at least included an option where you can choose which graphic quality to use.

Only if there is an off switch for some of us lol.
I would have put money on them figuring out 120 Hz in time for iPhone but in a shocking plot twist, the game got hella worse for iOS.
Problem is, unless you have the a android over 2 years old, it won't run the way you're asking.
For example, the entire line up of iPhone 13 devices, from the Pro Max to the Mini all use the same CPU the A15 Bionic, while the CPU performance may vary slightly between each model in terms of speeds, the amount of cores and overall processing is the same. Even their GPUs are the same, with the Pro and Pro Max having one additional core compared to the 13 and Mini, but the architecture is the same. This makes optimisation very simple, and follows the same trend for all series of iOS devices within a generation.
However with Android these specs can vary wildly. Just the CPUs alone that different android devices use are Snapdragon, Exynos, Tensor, Kirin, Dimension. Each of these CPUs have different max capabilities, different core amounts, different logics. And this doesn’t even go into the GPU side of things which there are many different ones again. All of these things can be mixed within different phones for the most part (although some like the Tensor is made by Google so I’d have to assume that they are exclusive to the Pixel series, but I don’t know that for certain). All of these different components make it extremely difficult to optimise the absolute max potential of the game on Android because simply there’s too many different variations and combinations. It is easier then to take the lowest common denominator, and make sure that the game works on that.
This is still a problem for iOS too, to a much lesser extent, and is the main reason why certain iOS and Android versions become no longer supported as the hardware in them becomes less capable of handling newer effects that get added to the game.
So yeah. That’s pretty much the reason why.
But you think they will stop to address android graphics out of the goodness of their hearts? Even asking for this as a remote possibility sounds ridiculous. Its great that you pointed this out, but it will never change
