What direction should I go in after a few months of hiatus?

Hey all, I haven’t played the game in quite a few months so I’m out of the loop on metas and everything. I’m thronebreaker and finished all variants and 7.3. I’m debating 100% act 6 but not sure what else I could do. Are any of my champs not ranked up worth ranking up? Can my roster take on 7.4?

    My suggesting, keep playing other games. The input system is still bugged, and the AI often refuses to throw specials...

    If you could do 7.3 you can definitely do 7.4. I'd advise continuing with Act 7. I had a blast exploring that act.

    One champion I would recommend ranking up as high as possible is Nimrod. He's amazing against so many tricky mutant champions. He's no slouch against other champions either, but he just nukes mutants who rely on prowess or regeneration (except for Bishop - don't fight Bishop).

    If you returned today, you probably just missed the beta for a new game mode that's about to be introduced: Battlegrounds. That's really fun as well. I think "early fall" is the planned proper release, so that might be something to keep an eye out for. If you don't know what BG is, it pits you against another player and you both get to choose 7 champions out of a deck of 30 that'll fight against each other. You each pick defenders and then attackers. You try to get your opponent's defender down with your attacker as quickly and neatly as possible, and vice versa. Nodes rotate weekly (at least in the betas so far). There are a lot of tactics going on, and I really like it. You have to balance picking good defenders that your opponent can't beat with picking good attackers that can deal with the defenders your opponent chooses.

    I don't know how it'll look when it launches properly but so far, there has been a dedicated store where you can buy a decent amount of good resources. 6* shards, t5b, t2a, 6* generic sig stones, etc.

    Oh thanks man that’s good advice. I got back just before it ended and it was fun. I did cav difficulty and enjoyed nimrod. Is he worth getting to r3? I have a 2-3 gem that’s generic that idk who to use. If I awaken aegon somehow that’s for him but other than that pipe dream idk.
