Re-Evaluate your Act 6 changes!!! (from someone who was wanting to become Cavalier)

It's absolutely wild to me that these changes were made to "balance" the game and make it "easier" for people to become Cavalier when in fact you have done the exact opposite. I have had this game since the day it was available from the App Store, and took a 2-3 year break but came back, in June, wanting to become cavalier only to see the drastic changes made to greatly increase the difficulty to become Cavalier.

How does that make any sense? I have 5* rank 5 lv 65 champions, and I'm seeing old videos of people becoming Cavalier by completing 6.1 with FAR less. And from what I can see in the thread about "big changes coming to act 6 in June", many people are flabbergasted at some of these changes and saying "if I wasn't cavalier already, I'd quit this game and never look back."

Well here I am. Frustrated, wanting to become cavalier, but not at an incredibly steeper handicap than it was just literally two months ago. That seems like the opposite of what the intention was. This whole "health pool redistribution" thing has really made 6.1 much more difficult to pass.

I slightly agree with you regarding 6.1 (for cavalier).
But 6.2 onwards, the act 6 is really balanced for cavalier to become Thronebreaker especially The Champion nerf!

Yes! It does seem, from what I've read/seen that 6.2 onwards it's for the better, but the changes also applied to 6.1 make it much much harder to become Cavalier for the first time.

There should always be an "easiest" path for a single run through. It doesn't have to be easy, but "easiest". And the harder ones are there for exploration.

Taking 6 champs who had a rating of around 22000 and increasing them all to 33000 doesn't seem to benefit the person going for first time completion. It makes act 6 a bigger barrier than it was before.

I'm all for balances, and there's a number of things this did well, but it really deterred the first-time map traverser.

I'm watching videos of people clear Agent Venom for example in 30~ hits. The same fight is taking me 100~ hits. Yes, there are tons of variables like what champs used and such, but if the difference of the same path, is that great, there's far more opportunity for *one* mistake to just completely screw you over.

How much of act 4 and 5 have you done? Do you do monthly EQs?

If you haven't fully explored act 4 and especially act 5, you probably have a under developed roster.

There’s a simple path through all of 6.1 tbh. 6.1.1 is probably the only genuinely difficult boss. I went through before the most recent set of changes on an alt with 2 R4 5* and the rest of my team were R2/3 5*.

Collectively it cost me about 10 revives for the whole thing.

This is my roster I’m using/trying for Cavalier

If you have rank 5 5* then you should be easily cavalier, I'm about to go for it on my second account with some rank 4 and rank 3 5*'s, maybe you just aren't using the right champs

You need to explore more content before getting to
    6.1.

Why is that? When I’m seeing so many people saying they did Cavalier with 5* rank 4’s and some 5* rank 2/3’s

Just because you saw that others may have done with lesser rosters doesn't guarantee that you can. Plenty of variables can contribute to that. Better champions, 2nd acct(meaning they are already familiar with), & skill set. Making an uneducated guess, I'd say you're in some combination of the 3...It's a game, not a race

Because you don't have good enough champs.
