Gwenmaster down

Your many plot armors can eat it.

The worst phase was by far the aarkus one, because I beat it and then died of coldsnap, meaning I changed the phase but she did no damage to herself.

Used more revives than I’d have liked but it was worth it because HELLO

    Congrats, i myself took her down a week ago. I will say, for me, it was way more fun that grandmaster boss. Used a 40% team revive and couple 20% solo revives on path. Collossus and warlock were MVP

    As of right now I'm stuck on 7.3.4 because i cant decide which path should i pick, all of them have some tough fights or simply very long fights.

    I don't remember what i pulled but it was a bad one

    Old man Logan path is quite easy. U might take her down before she even completes all her phases
    That path has a node which gives the attacker passive attack rating increase every 10 seconds.

    I personally went for the flare path (with resistances)

    I had:
    Venom (used for Daredevil)
    Ultron (used for Havok and Nightcrawler, then swapped for Aarkus)
    Magneto (used for Wasp, then swapped for Torch)
    Professor X (used for Ronin and the mini Gwenpool)
    CGR (used for Starky)

    then i ended up using them all for the boss but professor x and cgr did a lot of the work

    You know - I actually used Emma F on 4 of my Gwenmaster runs to enable Kitty’s immunity to reverse controls synergy. She was only a rank 3 5*, but I used her twice to take out the Doom plot armor. I’m just much better with Kitty than Prof X so had a much easier time getting out of the first phase when using her.

    Sounds solid!

    The good professor’s ability to ignore miss also made the shield phase a little easier (even if it did take me the longest to get through)

    Unpopular opinion: Kang is worse. I'm working on 100% Act 7 and have Gwenmaster done and one more path with Kang. I used more items for Kang than Gwenmaster by far. I actually sort of enjoyed the Gwenmaster fight. Can't say the same thing about Kang...

    I have to say I had the opposite experience - I was able to quickly learn and enjoy the Kang fights but found Gwenmaster - particularly that first phase - really annoying. Also really didn’t enjoy the Vision plot armor with the node that cut 5 seconds from her SP2 timer. Obviously by the 5th and 6th run I had it down much more, but from an overall enjoyment factor the Kangs were more fun for me.

    I think that is one of the things that is interesting about this game - there are some fights that come easier than others through some unique combination of skills that each of us have. On EOP for example I had a pretty easy time with Penni which some said was difficult but had a much harder time with Dragonman, who many said was easy.

    I think the general consensus is that Kang was easier. I am not one of those players that soloed either of them, but I did get Gwenmaster down without amy items once. When her time was shortened by 5 seconds that was definitely more difficult! With Kang I found particularly in the 3rd phase getting to 3 bars of power quite difficult. Plus I would get like 3,4, or even 5 charges easily enough but getting 6 was definitely a pain! The idea with Kang was very simple, but the execution I found more difficult. But maybe I'm just weird. 🤣 I haven't done 7.4 yet but am about to. 7.4 Kang looks easier. 😊 We shall see what I think after I take him on.

    I definitely found that path to be the most difficult, although it was my third or fourth run so really only struggled with the Aarkus phase. The other one that was a bit tricky is the one where she heals when she is knocked down, but as long as you hit her quickly it is interrupted. You will definitely find the rest of the paths easier with the one you finished.

    I took the same path with Venom, Nimrod, Ultron, Torch, Prof X. It was very fun path, Gwenmaster is not bad as well, it was fun until I messed up on 2nd mutant phase I forgot the dex after 4 prowesses a few times, lost my temper and ended up using few revives. It was fun over all.
