I’m leaning towards Overseer because I hear he’s kind of a beast in BGs for both offence and defence. But I already have lots of attacking options and desperately need solid defenders, would you rank up any of these champs over The Overseer?

Toad can be a real nuisance with his regeneration, especially if they don’t have a reverse heal / heal block option. He’s also great for offense, especially against purify champs.
Personally, I hate fighting annihilus. He’s an instaban for me.
These are all good options though, can’t go wrong with any of them

I don't think she's quite as good as a defender as the other options that I've got, but she definitely is fun in attack.

Is she any good in defence? I don't think I've fought her much if at all

I feel like with many people running despair and lots of Champs these days having access to many debuffs, Toad's regeneration can be easily answered.

But I haven't thought about him much for attack? I don't actually have many good Mutant 6*, maybe him and Storm are the only ones. Not sure I'm a fan of his playstyle but then again I'm no expert on Toad, I only pulled him last week.

    Ebony Maw
Man thing is better for this specific meta, but I feel like maw gives people more trouble and will likely get some damage in from the degen

Storm is also a great mutant option, but she offers little defensive utility, she’s mostly an offensive champs (a good one too). Toad has a bit of both worlds.

Essentially, to play Toad you spam the SP1 to build prowess. This also activates his secretion (regen), which is good for keeping his health topped off and allows him to inflict poison on all basic attacks rather than just tongue attacks. After you hit max prowess, fire off the SP2 for big damage. It’s a bit of a long rotation, but with his sig ability it speeds it up. Fun champ overall, not Hercules-level, but fun, sustainable, and has good damage.

He’s not duped so no degen unfortunately.
Is Man-Thing really that good in defence? I know he’s great in defence against buff heavy and non-poison immune champs, but what else makes him annoying?
I’ve always used Torch against him and never really considered him a top shelf defender, only a decent one. What makes him an instant pick for defence in the current Meta?

Good to know thanks for the insight on Toad! He seems like he’d be good for general questing or AQ but maybe not so much for Battlegrounds due to the longish ramp up.

Toad is regen cannot be decreased by outside sources so despair doesn't work

He's very underrated as an attacker
He can counter nick fury and purify champs
    And acceptable damage

I wasn't aware of that, thanks for letting me know. How does he counter Nick Fury? I honestly don't know much about his uses but I know that a lot of people do rate him highly so I'm sure there's many reasons why.

When Nick enters his 2nd life, he removes all debuffs. But Toad has an ability where if skill champs shrug his poisons off, he has a high chance to replace them with poison passives. If you stack a bunch of poisons right before Nick dies, they’ll be converted to poison passives, which will reduce his 2nd life regen by a ton and deals good damage as well.

    Overseer
Overseer always takes forever for my opponents to kill. He always takes at least a minute, and not ally more, to die, and that's what I need for GC where I'm at.
