Hello guys. Can you explain how does it work? I killed my enemy but spent more health. Enemy had not killed the defender and got the round point. WTF?

I guess in this one you could say that even though they didn’t kill your defender, they put up the better fight and survived more whilst almost taking the defender down

BG is about keeping your health full and killing the opponent fast.
Now, a lot of ppl believe that killing the opponent faster is the way to go, eh eh!!

Keep your health full and take a little more time to kill the champ, you'll win most matches.

So the goal of game is saving more health? Not to kill the defender? :D

He did not kill the defender -> he played worse.

I know, I said he didn’t and almost did. While he didn’t kill your defender, he kept most of his health and almost took yours out.

    It's so ridiculous.
Why in the AQ when the defender has 1% health left you lost?
Why in the AW when the defender has 1% health left you lost?
Why in the quests when the defender has 1% health left you lost?

So lets keep the same logic in AW, AQ and quests. I almost killed the defender.

Let's switch your argument then. Their defender played better than your's, and were able to take out more HP to the opponent than your did.

    I understood you.
IMHO: scores should be calculated when you and your opponent kill the defender. When one of you kill the defender and the other one not - the winner should be the one who killed the defender.

It’s to keep the mode short and to not let people have 5-10 minute fights so the other person doesn’t have to wait for them. That’s why just killing the defender shouldn’t automatically give you the win
Don't give me the win, give automatic lose to the opponent ;)

So you think if you kill a defender with 0.1% hp remaining, and your opponent has 100% health left but they left 0.1% heath on the defender that you should win?

The goal of the game is to score more points.
There are up to 30k points for damaging the defender, up to 15k points for maintaining your health, and up to 15k points for finishing fast. Killing the defender automatically gives 50% of the theoretical maximum, making it the most influential.

I think the issue is thinking of it as too much one way or the other. There are weighted factors. While killing the defender is most important / most heavily scored, time and how clean you do it (how much health you lose) does factor in as well. So its not specifically killing the defender. And its not how much health you have. Its a combination of all those things, just defender health has the biggest impact on the scoring but isnt the only factor.

It's not the same logic in AW and AQ and quests. In Aq there is a limit to how many times you can die . In aw even one death can mean less rewards. In quests you could die a million times but you'll still get all the rewards.

No. The goal isn't just to save more health. And it isn't just to kill the deffender. And it isn't to just do it as fast possible.
The goal is: Score the most POINTS.

Stop comparing BG to AQ, AW, or Quests. Each game mode has it's on set of rules.
