I know we complain all the time when things aren’t going right with the game but seldom give praise when things go right. I just wanna say, thank you guys at Kabam for all the hard work and dedication you’ve put into the game especially in the last few months. The Banquet event is so much better IMO than the gifting event last year, GREAT JOB! Hope you guys had a great Christmas holiday and looking forward to a successful 2023.

The Banquet: Probably the best event ive seen in a while
New Champ Designs: Newest champs have awesome design and gameplay, even in the win celebration animation which pretty much everyone had the same when the game started, and now we ve seen some rly cool unique ones! I rly like Mantis and Galan one. Also some rly famous characters finally reached the contest, such as Shuri, Mantis, Wong, Jessica Jones, Quicksilver, Valkyrie, Scorpion and Black Cat.
Gotta give credit where its due
1) it truly stinks that they waited til late August to tell us there was no meaningful gifting.
2) the crystals are full of truly disappointing pulls. I feel like I get 1000 6-star shards or 50,000 scrap all the time. Yet I feel obligated to buy the crystals to get the 5-star relic. I’m basically exhausting resources on stuff that doesn’t help me just to get the milestones and hope that those help me later.
I do think they did a great job making it feel like light spenders get a lot of rewards, but that feeling evaporates when you open the crystals and get literal scrap.
I just with more ppl were wary of what they say and think twice before they post 🤷🏽♂️
I have greatly appreciated the Banquet solo and alliance events. I enjoyed that my teammates, with different progressions, got the same valuable rewards, and enjoyed to see them getting good 6* champions (in abyssal nexus or in basic nexus or just in basic 6*). I spent my units more easily than during the previous Christmas events.
That was the best Christmas in the game (and I play for around 8 years) and a way to motivate the players for some months.
Just one topic: The gifting part of items was a soucy because there was a choice between send an item in exchange and use units in crystals that benefit more for the alliance. Ok, that is a way to help some players with these objects or for them to score in the events, but in my case I didn’t need them and they were a waste.
Suggestion: could there be an option « no gift » to enable/disable the reception of items by gifts?
In the solo event, the gap of rewards between the 1-50% and 50-100% is too important. What are TB and Paragorns supposed to do with a 5* crystal or even with a rank 4-5 gem? (I know Cavalier are the target of 5*).
Maybe this gap was defined to be sure there will be a contest on the event and so a lot of units use. But it was not necessary because the milestones were good enough to motivate players.
Yes, the rank rewards could be seen as a bonus after the milestones, but it could also be seen as unfair after spending several thousands of units.
Suggestion: reduce the gap with 7500 or 5000 6* shards and maybe a rank 1-2 6* gem (generic or crystal).
Honestly, I would’ve vastly preferred the addition of a 500-unit paragon and TB crystal that removed these low-end rewards and added in relics or better access to r4 mats. A 1/200 chance at a full t6 or t3 is a little weak when we could straight up buy them in the cyber weekend store a month ago.
