Tanking SP3 is an indirect way of power control.
Does not work in every scenario ofc

In that case, then awakened Luke Cage or Iceman is good too.

Magik as long as they aren’t debuff immune or have tenacity.
If they are debuff immune I would go Doom or OGV to power drain (wish I had OGV)
Dormammu takes the best of Magik and Dooms power control, but is the worst champion, invariably the fight would drag forever.
I would say Quake is an honourable mention except that is more power denial than control and Doc Ock has his place amongst the list but doesn’t work in debuff immune fights.
Which one you choose depends on the situation. If they have rapid power gain (buff) and start at one bar of power, Doom 100%. If it is just avoiding specials, Quake. Power gain from the start Use Magik or OGV.
Low health and attack pools and plenty of time, use Dorm!

Not the best, but hulk buster is quite underrated by a few with his power drain on sp2. If you get skilled with him he’s quite fun to play

Random take - I recently got 6* Stealthy. His 1st preflight ability selector is underrated. Is it the best? Nope. But, when done right, he can control power very well if needed with that preflight ability.

Why? Because I find that ability fairly useful so I should “stop” because it is not the same as your opinion.
