You're about to get a point of view from someone who became Thronebreaker 3 weeks ago, so if i say anything inaccurate, i apologize.

Claire Voyant was my MVP for 6.4.6 on the Cosmic (Opportunistic) path. If i'm not wrong, she can do all fights by herself. I'm pretty sure Doom is also really good for it

However, if you're talking about The Grandmaster, it's a fight which can be done with any champion, but it's also a fight which requires A LOT of patience.

My first try was terrible, but after hoarding some units and revives, i gave him another try. The Grandmaster alone took almost 40 minutes for me, but i ended up using only 1 team revive + a few level 1s that i had hoarded.

Doom and Herc are MVP for the grandmaster

    @Kabam Miike

Ps this is coming after a long grueling unsuccessful battle with GM, where it feels like the creators of Mcoc have found a loophole to get my money. Where you gotta beat this guy but you’ll probably have to spend some (a lot) of time and money to do so.. anyways,

Why y’all make this like this. You already had to nerf 6.4.6, and why make all the people who make you successfully by playing your game, make us pay to beat something man, it’s just not right imo, can’t believe I’ve been working towards, TB, spent money, then I feel like I have to double all that I had already spent on the game just to beat one character. I think you guys lost me. Yeah I’m not a good player but man, please loosen up the reigns, not all of us are sweats who create content just for this game bruh, so this ain’t all we do all day everyday. Rant over lmao

I did the easy path with juggs (+colossus) except for vision which I used diablo. I wasn't planning on anything more than a practice on GM. I had a few potions I needed to use up so I thought Id see if I could get a bit more familiar with phase 1.
Took a while to get the hang of it but decided to carry on through phase 2. I tried a team revive in phases 1,2 and 3 but I was really bad with anything but Juggs who got me through all phases with no units and used nearly half my stash of revives. He's R3 6* though. If you have some idea of what's going on in the phases he will definitely save you from being caught out on sp1 and even tank a sp2.
He was my cheat code cos I probably didn't have the skills. I don't have a doom except at 4* so maybe he's just as easy but Juggs seems kind of built for it.

@Dannycorb23 I used a bunch of saved revives and 2000 units to beat the grandmaster, once, back in the day. Used r2 corvus with 4 charges and did not get him to wounded with corvus even once.

I just revived up and chipped him down. It was horrible.

If you have a decent level herc, corvus, CGR or aegon, you can do the same....

Or, if you can clear the lane to get to him without revives, then keep running it to practice.

I beat him once 2 years ago and am not going back. Went straight to act 7 and 8; there is nothing of value in act 6, except for beating the GM to get to thronebreaker.

My suggestion is, either practice a lot, or take a "nuke" champion, swallow your pride and just revive through him.

Most people get stuck on the third phase and reverse controls. Try bringing a champ that is immune, i used prof x. The nice thing about this fight is that it actually is fair, any, literally any champ can do it. It is based off skill, it took me a couple resets to get the hang of it, but managed to get a couple runs where i take off almost 50 % in one go. Practice intercepting, learn to avoid his sp1, the timing is slightly weird.

Thanks y’all, I got him to 50% after 20 dollars worth of units but couldn’t do it anymore. Any tips to farm units or revives?

Sell all your battle chips. And do more arena :-)

watch youtube. Also if your not good at the game really nail down the fundamentals, parry, dex, intercepting, etc. I watched a few youtube videos and got the GM down in like 600-something units with a r2 warlock.
