BG reports

I really don't know how reports in Battlegrounds actually work, if they re going to be of any use from the developers I mean, I guess they ll investigate them after season ends.
That said, I have a suggestion: when you report a mod in the mode (sic), this player to look like he s banned from you, and that you can't interact with him anymore. In this way, (I think?) the system won't choose him as your opponent from this moment on.
I m saying this because today, I fought a cheater, ok, I reported him. Next fight, same person, another report. Third try, again the same person! And you may say ok, forfeit the fight, I would, but I was using EMs not energy, and they are too precious and for whoever buys them, expensive to waste.

Reporting someone in BG should operate like BLOCKING someone from Global.
It should put them in a type of “EXCLUDED” list, so you won’t be matched against them again.
(Ooops). So now, gonna totally contradict myself.
Doing that would be so exploited by everyone whenever they lose to a tough (but not necessarily cheating) opponent. So they would not have to face them in future and hopefully result in easier matches against lesser opponents.
**who will in turn block “you” because for them you were the hard opponent and they want to match against even easier people.
Should definitely NOT automatically match you again with the same someone you have recently been matched with for say a 1 hour time period.
Currently, I could see why people are getting same matches back-2-back a lot.
Both people are ending their previous match at same time, both are still engaged in wanting another match.
It's a 50/50 possibility. Either there is a single other person still waiting for someone to be available. -OR- any previous people waiting have already been paired with someone else, and so you 2 become the next people in line again (and so paired up again).
* 0 other people waiting (at your Strength level, however they are calculating who gets matched up). You 2 become matched again.
* 1 other person (at that strength) waiting. 1 of you will be matched against them, other of you will now become the 1 person waiting for someone else.
* 2 other people waiting. Won't happen, they would have been matched up already before your current match ends.
