Kingpin 8.2.2 purifying apocalypse

In 8.2.2 there is a kingpin. I used Apocalypse to counter kingpin's purify ability since he makes opponents suffer 100% purify ability accuracy reduction. For some reason, kingpin was still able to purify apocalypse's debuffs. The nodes are...
1)Relentless Mutation
2)Heal or Hide
3)Vigorous Assault
4)Enhanced Abilities - 200
5)Strike Back

None of these would be relevant except for possibly #4.
The description for "Enhanced Abilities - 200" is "All abilities trigger 200% more often". This is a bit vague but I didn't think it meant that the defender would get 200%+ ability accuracy. Could someone clear this up?

    it means exactly that. Apocalypse reduces purify abilities by 100%. KP has enhanced abilities, so apoc no longer works on him there.

    It's quite clearly stated, it simply enhances all his abilities over 100% meaning that he can purify, they can't have made it any clearer.
