7* alliance event encourages leaving small alliances

So, nothing is perfect, honestly I thing 7* have been one of the best handled new introductions I've seen in the game, fun, not entirely game breaking, and accessible. But the alliance event just feels unfair. It encourages higher accounts who spend a little or have played longer (im both)to abandon alliances that may need them. I have been fine helping out my current alliance, I like the players, and I understand it's a little below my skill and accnt level but I can play with family and enjoy the game. Now though I feel as though I should leave because I'm missing out on so many rewards since most of the alliance isn't paragon and a solid chunk are ftp, there was a video about how to contribute 40k as ftp but tbqh it involved a little credit hoarding and revives that aren't available anymore. It just woulda been a lot better if there were rank rewards and a lower shelf for contribution rewards.

I want to applaud you though for playing in a lower rank alliance than you could especially when the game incentivizes the opposite. I’ve been in alliance for years that has been (on average) multiple progression levels below me. I’ve missed out on tons of rewards from alliance events, gifting events, etc, but I stay with them because of the camaraderie. I’ve been Paragon for ~7 months or so, and my alliance has three other brand new paragons, a handful of TBs, and a number of people who are still working on Cav. Makes the game fun, but the rewards (and alliance events) much more boring.
Also isn't the cutoff timer pretty big? Leaving wouldn't be a thing for too long.
The only difference is that this one they didnt announce it
😆
It's the most noticeable in events like this, but it's honestly a problem in many areas of the game. That's the reason I was so annoyed with the BG alliance event. I had hoped that BG would be the one ongoing activity where everything laid in my own hands and I wouldn't be held back by others not pushing as hard as me (or feeling as if I held back them if I concentrated on other things certain seasons, such as the EOP:A or 8.2). But nah, Kabam had to alliance-ify Battlegrounds too.
I'm not sure what the solution is. I've wanted a system where all alliance rewards are progression-based for some time now, but maybe that'd be too complicated to implement (especially all throughout the game). But until something happens, I'm going to continue feeling rather put off by all alliance-related things in the game since they simply aren't very rewarding.
Unfortunately, my alliance mates are a lovable bunch of people so I'm not terribly inclined to leave them for different pastures either.
(Sorry for my TED Talk/dead-tired 2 AM rant.)
