Should Damage Cap from LOL and Abyss get removed in the near future?

So it's been 6 years since labyrinth of legends released and it's been 3 years since abyss released, how fast time flies right?
So the question arises, should they remove their damage cap? Any thoughts?

I'd say no. I feel like if they did, Kabam would start becoming super against making champions that reach high damage quickly. We would likely never see another CGR, Galan, or Quicksilver ever again.

    Nope
It would simply make Kabam not make another CGR, Hercules or any champion that shows absurd increase in dmg
And people will use powerboosts to power through it which will make it unfair for those who did it without powerboosts

Removing the damage cap on labryinth so people can see how high certain champs can go without killing the opponent too fast like in rol would be cool but removing the damage cap on abyss would make the hardest content in the game some of the easiest content in the game.

I doubt that would happen, specially with Carina challenges

One of the few valid point for dropping the damage cap is the rewards are horribly outdated as is most permanent content. And it might encourage players to do it.

The rewards are not outdated. The rewards are low, relative to what is achievable elsewhere by end game players.

But for upcoming players, those rewards are still good rewards. Removing the damage cap makes it a lot easier for players who are first encountering the Abyss now than it was for the players who have done it in the past, for no good reason - the Abyss might be a non-challenge for current end game players, but it is still a challenge for other, newer players. Eliminating that challenge would just be trivializing that content and reduce the amount of challenging content for future players by one.

The game is a ladder, and most of the content are steps in that ladder. The rewards for content don't become "outdated" no matter how popular that term is, just because newer stuff gets added. It takes years of game changes for content and its rewards to become "dated" in the sense that it no longer fits into the current game concept, as the early Acts eventually became when they were revised last year.

But the rewards in those Acts, even though they are not end game caliber, are still appropriate for the players who are running those Acts. The Abyss rewards are still appropriate for many players who join the game and tackle it for the first time while they are still progressing upward in the Cavalier through Thronebreaker range.
