Mantis in escape from Titan episode 3 is complete utter bs. It does not matter how bs fights are I will never spend money on this game Kabam. You hear me, never. I am just trying to enjoy this game as a casual player but you know the walls are closing in cause you making it so BS with all of these defenders with some bs utilities. Never spending money on a "free to play" game. If it is possible to enjoy it just being casual, because we have more important things in life then maybe we can commit more consistently. Just find some balance Kabam is that so difficult? Stop being so greedy and find some balance. Not everyone can spend 10 + hours on a mobile game. Not everyone is gonna spend any money or whatever amount on your lovely game that is meant to help people escape from reality for a bit. People are trying to go through life with all of the madness. You want to make a positive impact, find a balance so that people can just jump in and escape from reality for a bit.

    I did all 5 levels with just 3 champions without losing more than 5% health. It's hard until you practice and waste energy rather than revives. Just focus up, you'll get it.

    I spend less than an hour a day on the game. Way less in fact. Maybe 10 minutes total. She's not that hard. If you don't understand the fight or mechanics of the defender, ask for advice instead of complaining.

    If you have correct counter.. it will be easier.. I personally had a tough time since I am not highly skilled nor do I have super loaded account. I had to use revives, potions, boost and some units to get through it.. but somehow I got it done.. special lock, root mechanic and Mantis sp1 sleep is very annoying.. not sure how to remove the special lock.. maybe intercepting Ai works.. I thought it was heavy into opponent but that didn't work.. so if anyone wanna share how to beat threat5 final boss Mantis.. that would be great.. since I 100% it.. id rather not do it again.. still bummed out that I can't get Thronebreaker objective or Paragon objective rewards.. having additional rewards behind progression is crummy imo.. dunno if kabam reads post.. previous side quest allows every summoner irregardless of progression to have chance to get 6* class awaken gem and even 6* generic awaken gem.. now with prevalence of 7*.. wouldn't it be nice if everyone has chance at 6* awaken gem.. thanks kabam for fun extremely challenging boss..

    A good suggestion, but to be fair, I found the Fight to be quite a pain at more than one Difficulty.

    Domino kills her or takes 90% health with one sp1 or sp2. Any mutant with high damage specials will work well

    You need to understand her gameplay and she is luck dependent. There are fights where she plays normally and you can one shot her by pushing her to special 2 and working around the special lock to finish her. Those fights you should be able to one shot.

    Then there are fights where she spams special 1, hangs back in defense, waits for sleep to kick in and combos you to oblivion. Cant help those fights. You will need revives on those fights.

    Just ensure to get a champ who can do lots of damage on specials and hope she behaves herself. After you get the rhythm, can beat her with multiple champions. My skill levels are average and i beat her with 5 different champs for some variety.

    Admittedly I blew through the first run with cgr without even reading the nodes. If u don't have him at 6r4, just pay attention to the cycle for power lock, push her to sp2 and if encroaching stun be encroaching, throw that special you're saving (while watching that power lock cycle. ) $0 spent for this user, 0 revives also. Just takes patience and attention.

    I ran into an issue in which Sp3 attacks did 0 damage, which was very annoying and kept the fights dragging on needlessly longer. Otherwise, the sleep-stun/root/power lock is definitely a nasty combo but nowhere near impossible. Play it with some pationce and you'll have constant willpower healing from the nodes to help correct for any mistakes and lag spikes.

    Doesn't matter whether you get it down or not RNG will at times be in your favorite and at times won't be. I took mantis down 3/5 time due to RNG being on my side but the other 2 wasn't. Devs clearly don't play this game at all bc certain defenders should never interact with nodes that make their abilities more stronger then it's suppose to be.

    I don't get why people had so many issues. I just used AA. Took some extra time but ignored most of the nodes and stuff Mantis does. Didn't even have to worry about sleep.

    I used gambit, build up to 10 prowess while also building up to your sp2 or sp3...
    then if mantis got 1 bar of power keep on baiting her heavies and push her to 2 bars of power then you bait her sp2, once you got sp2 or sp3 ready find an opening to stun her, if you got relic equipped that's an easy opening just intercept with your striker to stun her charge your heavy and sp2 or sp3, fight is over.

    edit: in fact this boss fight is boring, cause you cannjust get around all the nodes by just using a champ with high damaging specials, especially sp3s and sp2s because of the power shield node.

    Never spent a dime on this game, casual player here.

    Did Mantis on threat 3-5 (explored) and I never had an issue with her. Guess it's about perspective then

    It was an easy fight but the power shield node seemed to not work. My r4 kitty sp2 seemed to have normal damage for the first hits (12k crit and 7k non crit and such) and only the last 2 hits seemed to be affected by power shield (58k crit and 27k non crit). Weird

    I can say she is easily the most difficult fight in a SQ or EQ for some time, it took some runs before I got used to it. Having a weird buggy power shield node did not help either.
