A cheap trick to counter intercepts

Past few days I've been seeing ai just casually walking in the fight to cover the distance between the champs , when trying to intercept they just pull a punch up like they've been ready .
Intercepts are failing more than they're succeeding even with debuffs like infuriate , and I'm not saying this like i can't intercept i know how to do it and I've been doing it with great ease
It all just feels like they want to reduce intercepts from the game now .
Anyone else felt like the ai just walks upto them ?

    I've had that behavior too. Especially that light attack before I intercept..

    Infuriate the AI? It starts throwing lights when you're out of range.

    Intimidate the AI? It throws a special as you dash in.
