I cant beat masochism, I know its hard but damn

I have been practicing at masochism in lines of the sand for probably about a month now because I think im well past the point of being able to get uncollected. Today alone I got from yellow jacket through the next 4 characters without taking more than 10% damage on any character, which was hard af, and then as soon as I got to iron patriot I made one mistake that costs me a whole character and so on. Essentially ive practiced to the point that I can flawless the first 4 characters and Im just wondering if this is really supposed to be this hard? For reference from the last event I managed to get myself a 6 star red goblin that I have at rank 2, and a 6 star rank 1 hawkeye, a rank 4 5 star awakened galan, rank 4 5 star BW claire voyant, a rank 4 void 5 star awakened, and thats what I have been attempting with so far as they are my best characters. I have a rank 3 gorr 5 star that I have been working on leveling cause ive heard that the amount of debuffs he applies works well but Im just not sure if that will be what does it for me. Other things I was thinking of ranking up further are a 4 star awakened hulkling only at rank 2 now but idk how much that would help with masochism. I saw somewhere that since I have hawkeye pretty strong I could throw tigra in there for the synergy who i have at rank 3 5 star but unawakened. Sorry for the long message but any tips would be really appreciated like maybe I should try using some 4 stars who are just meant to handle masochism better? idk but im tired of constant playing with no progress

    i do wonder also is leveling and ranking up 4 stars still good to do and can they really help me progress still past act 5, or are they too weak? I get the battles take time but i feel like if i get hit 1-3 times my character will be dead right?

    Masochism and Buffet are the first major hurdles in story quest after maestro. Until then, most people tend to cruise and use revives where they dont.

    If you are getting through 4 champs with 90% plus health then you are not struggling with the node but the length of the quest. Just keep revives ready and do the run. Very few people have done it itemless on their first try.

    Also, masochism is an important node to familiar yourself with. Its the current node in battlegrounds, in alliance war, side quests and shows up across the game.

    Keep going, you are almost uncollected and dont worry, most of us who struggled with Masochism back then, do it naturally now without practice. Its about getting accustomed to that node over time.

    New players struggle with masochism because it ruins their parry.
    A tactic is just don't parry => block early and counter their heavies.

    As most older players did the with R3/R4 4 stars its not the power level of your champs, its your skills in handling the challenge.

    White magneto and Apoc are great for masochism, especially if you rely on parry. Void is difficult because they can cancel out his debuffs that they place. I don’t remember if act 5 masochism is with regen or power gain, but if it’s regen, then warlock is also great.

    I also wouldn’t rank up 4 stars anymore since you’re struggling. They can still be useful, but it seems you need more power/stats, which 5* provides.
