Game stuck updating, cant play

[Android user] I tried to enter the game last night and it said a new version was required and so I went on and updated the game on google play and the update got very fast to 97% and then just got stuck there and its been like this for till this morning (~12hours)
This morning i uninstalled some apps and i tried installing it again but the same thing happened, got stuck on 97%
The update contains 121MB if it matters.
Is it only happening to me? Is there any fix?

    It happens to a bunch of people, it's been like that since the beginning of may update. Kabam don't care about it as lots of people complain but they won't do anything they just ignore the players having this damn updating screen bug

    There was another post on this and later the guy said he was able to do it after uninstalling the game completely and then downloading fresh
