How to redeem the reward

I received this message in my email, when I click to redeem I am sent to the website and nothing happens. What area do I have to go to to get these 5 Crystals?

    100% a scam. The only emails I’ve ever seen about “rewards” are from Marvel Insider when I claim points. Kabam has never (as far as I know) sent out an email with rewards for players to claim. All of that would be done through in game messaging.
    Someone decided to spend money on a domain name to try and scam people.

    Any email from kabam will be from the domain @ kabam.com

    In general, if you ever get an email with a link, DO NOT PRESS THE LINK. Keep yourself safe out there

    That doesn’t look like one of kabam’s domains. If it was you would expect a redirect to playcontestofchampions.com if you browsed to it. Also if you look up playcontestofchampions.com on who.is you get all sorts of info like who it’s registered to/by etc look up marvelcontestofchampions.kabam.com and you get nothing, which suggests it’s a spoof.
    If the link took you a site that asked you to put in any passwords then change them immediately.

    I've been receiving news from this email for a while, but just today I went to find out if these rewards were real, when I clicked on the link I was directed to the game's website "playcontestofchampions.com/news" . That's why I joined the forum to check.

    What's interesting is I noticed that is a legit email address that does send news. I honestly forgot about that one lol. The reward thing is still weird to me.
