Mantis on Battlegrounds

A 7* Mantis just parried my Wolverine Strike on battlegrounds. I was using a 6* r3 Toad and had Wolverine relic equipped, I used the striker and she simply parried him and left Toad stunned. Is this supposed to happen?

    Also there’s this annoying bug, when Mantis goes for an attack and stop right before she hit your block and just stand there, I know her abilities but this seams kind odd it’s like her combos are not connecting

    the wolverine one has been whiffing and is generally bugged, so it’s not a mantis thing, the striker just doesn’t work half the time

    Also did your Champs sleep from the sp1 by chance instead of parry stun? Strikers do not stop that.

    No, I was using Toad, he had Prowess which stop Mantis sleep effects, also “Parry” appeared on screen

    Ah so that's how that works, I've just been playing against her like havok without a counter and hoping for the best.

    The only way to remove the sleep stun is to special attack while it expires. Just having a prowess doesn’t do anything. You were probably stunned by the sleep

    The only way to remove the sleep stun is to special attack while it expires. Just having a prowess doesn’t do anything. You were probably stunned by the sleep
    No I wasn’t, the Parry code appeared
