Game stuck in Arena

Just began dome arena fights and after 8 series my 9 series got stuck on that screen :
I choose 3 7 stars and hit the fight button
Even after reloading the game, i still can’t do arena

And updated. I can now do arena again.
The weird thing is the fix was for a bug concerning arena express which i had unchecked way before being stuck
