People who newly joined alliance can’t place persistent defenses please help

    Matchmaking is down, so apparently that impacts changes to persistent placement for everyone.

    Unlike last time, when they took down AW entirely, this time it is only Matchmaking (for upcoming war, and beyond) that is down. As evidenced by attack of currently ending war still going on.

    You can still make changes to your Persistent Placement defense (for whenever it will be that war matchmaking resumes).

    But as for original issue, that may be one of the things not resolved yet, that if you had persistent placement somewhere else, when you go to new alliance that might be locked.
    But if so, then consider it a bug, because there have been new pop ups saying for next wars that anyone who had left alliance will have had their defenders taken off of any future war map.

    Though it should still be that any defenders (and your ability to join war at all) is locked for the CURRENTLY ACTIVE war when you change alliances.

    It corrected itself yesterday when the war ended
