Unblockable being blocked

Can anyone explain why when I was fighting the boss, Ultron, in 5.4.6 he was able to block my Rintrah’s Sp2 when Rintrah had 20 mystical charges? It happened twice so I’m assuming it wasn’t a bug and I’m just not understanding something.

    Did he evade?

    The first time he evaded the first hit and then blocked the rest. The second time he straight up blocked the whole attack.

    I wish I took videos of my fights.

    Im not that familiar with Rintrahs kit so im going to assume that only the first hit is unblockable similar to how all of the enhanced special nodes in the game work. So since he evaded the first hit the rest of the special was able to be blocked. However that doesnt explain the second instance you described so i have no idea lol

    All of Rintrah's special hits are unblockable when he's max charges.

    In order for that to fail, it's either "can block unblockable" or AI doing AI things.

    And it was a boss fight too. In my experience that’s when the most unusual “AI stuff” happens. I always hope it’s not the case, but alas, these wonky mechanics seem to occur most often in those fights.

    Hmm.
    I tried looking at the Ultron to see what sort of abilities it had...

    only to realise that you can't move the map, even in preview

    ...why have a preview then

    If you're charges reset mid special attack, it will not remain unblockable
