Warlock will be in the Titan Pool. Is he still worth r4ing as a 6*?

Most people I know aren’t r4ing champs like bishop or hulk as theyre in the 7* pool.
Some are also not taking up Shang to r4 as he’ll be in the titan pool.
Warlock however is different in that the dupe and especially the sig 200 can play a role on defense compared to the unawakened 7*

so IMO take him up if you will get good use before you can maybe get him as a 7*.
think about how long it will take.
personally i have warlock as a 6* at r4.
i will not take him to r5 however
i will be not opening any 7* until after he is in the base pool.
this image is based on kabams titan crystal base pool schedule.
taken from the original announcement
and just has the names filled in from the vote
However, as the pool expands, the chances of pulling a specific champion decrease drastically. Unless Kabam hands out Titan shards way more generously than I anticipate them to, I don't think any of us can count on pulling anyone in particular from their time in that crystal. When Warlock enters the basic 7* pool in December, it will be almost twice the size it is now. At that point, I have a feeling that the "I will probably be able to pull this champ as a 7* so I'll hold off on ranking up my 6*" feeling will dissipate.
My advice - at least when it comes to champs that you have as 6*s but not yet as 7*s - is that they are probably safe to take to r4 at the very least. I have my Warlock (and a couple of other 7* champions) at 6r4 and have no regrets. I'm also pumping both him and Titania full of sig stones.
Keep in mind that Ascension will also allow you to rank them up even further. Between that and the ability to more freely sig them up, I don't think 7*s will overtake their 6* equivalents anytime soon. If Ascension hadn't been on the horizon, I might have felt differently, but as it stands, I think you're better of ranking up the champions you currently have rather than the champions you might pull in the future. Especially as the chances of pulling those specific 7*s get slimmer and slimmer as times goes on.
And why i was alluding to the fact op should consider ranking him
Not sure why so many disagrees.
Full disclosure I have had him R5 sig 200 for some time now and don't regret it a bit. Top 5 tech champ in any situation and arguably the very best in some situations.
Seriously though, at the rate most people will open 7* for the next year or more waiting only makes sense for some champs, warlock is not one of them.
Would you sig 200 him over future antman?
But as to if any others will join basic. Who knows.
