This may be stupid but do 7 stars count as a r4

I’m close to paragon and about 200 shards from my first 7 star. Would that have the same effect as a rank 4 6 star and make me paragon, don’t know if it’s just delusion because I want paragon so much

    7* does not count as higher ranks for lower rarities for that specific criteria. Three six stars rank four is the criteria.

    7* is equivalent to a 6* @ rank4.

    NOTE: the 7* champion is not included with paragon requirement for the (3) three 6* champions @ rank4.

    7* Strenght is equal to a r4 but it is not a r4 its a r1 7*

    6* r4 require you to have earned enough of the Rankup Cats to do so.
    Just simply acquiring a 7* on it’s own (and having them as r1) does not require earning any Rankup Cats.
    So there is that difference as well.

    Having a 7* and ranking up 6* to R4 are two different things. Your excitement is understandable but the requirements of being a paragon is not claiming 7* but ranking up your champion
