I would prefer something like the summer of pain. But if you enjoy doing the same niche fights 300 times that’s fine. Have fun!
I'm the first person to say people have the right to say whatever they want, so you're preaching to the choir. Once in a while I feel the need to point out that complaining for the sake of complaining is counterproductive. There is no negative to this Event.
It was definitely boring, but it's a hard needle to thred, making it doable for most players but not impossibly easy for too many - so they make it time consuming but easy. A compromise.
It's not even as if it's hard, did the DLX difficulty itemless, not even potions used. So making players do nearly over 250 identical fights is just tedious.
I'd much rather have a 6 fight quest with bigger health/attack pools to compensate rather than 36 fights for the first chapter.
This Legends celebration event is a big win overall imo.
Also , to my account I would like
1. Content tougher than Brutal DLX challenge
2. Less path/non repetition paths.
3. Better rewards (EOP Carina Challange have better reward than this event)
This had 7 chapters with the nodes all the same. So it’s not the same format, it’s substantially longer, which would be fine if it was fun but honestly, for me it’s the biggest chore. Some people may feel this thread is people complaining but it’s expressing feedback about content. If you like the content, then great share that with Kabam as well. Tell them what you like about it. But we can also share our feedback on the forum that we want challenging varied content, and cut and paste with the PI rating increasing slightly across fights isn’t fun to the majority of people.
Ever since the first Challenge I've enjoyed those type of Events. Now it's become a bit nostalgic, but also it's a good way to see how I've progressed. It's also a good way to practice in increasing increments of difficulty. Which is pretty in tandem with Incursions when you think about it.
Sometimes it's not quick Rewards. Sometimes things take time and effort.
looks like it's that time again
6 lanes across 6 difficulties though is just too much. By the time you make it to cav difficulty you have the map more than figured out and the biggest challenge turns into seeing how many fights you can make it through before your phone starts lagging to an unplayable level. Maybe it would be fine if the intent with this was to be permanent content, like with shooting stars, but a grind that takes hours and hours with a limited timeframe to complete feels like shortsighted planning.
3 lanes across each difficulty would be plenty grindy, one lane per difficulty with significantly ramped up health pools would probably have provided the challenge players wanted after the livestream hype. This just feels tedious to play through (and on top of an already very grindy content month with incursions SQ and a longer BG track).
The quest is very monotonous and that takes out all the fun of it. If it would been a lane of RoL champs that you need to fight once in 6 difficulties and the DLX challenge I wouldn’t have minded that at all but 37 fights per quest that are un-autofightable that is something I don’t look forward to.
