New War Scoring promotes Milking

Just learned that if you’re willing to use items, you’re gauranteed to win in war. We doubled the defender kills against our opponent and only scored an addition 1k attack bonus.

Glad you listened to the feedback, made changes, but was still able to ensure your pockets remain full.

    That's because the point of Attack Bonus is to add an element of skill, not penalize spending.

    No. Defense is back into the equation. Spending has always been a part of War. It's up to the Ally to gauge whether they want to use Resources or not. Now they have to try and keep the 3 Bonuses, so the object is to try and stop them. Anything after that, they've already lost the Bonus. No system will logically punish Players for using Resources. That's not what Defender Kills were about, even though Allies gauged for themselves whether they wanted to based on that.

    What's needed at this point is more information about attacker kill bonuses/deaths via the score info UI, b/c right now it is very hard to determine how many deaths are loss of bonus point deaths vs deaths that did not lose any bonus points.

    I think where we struggled was the boss kills, at least 2 of our bosses had over 10 kills, but unfortunately after 3 there is no more penalty

    There will always be the spenders who will buy their way to 100%. You just need to figure out how to spread your kills around so that you win regardless of their spending. It's not about finding one node to shut them down, that won't stop the spenders. You need to find the right defenders for the key nodes so you're getting kills elsewhere.

    Our last war we had a boss with 17 kills. But the rest of us in the ally each had 1-3 kills, so we destroyed them.
