I don't understand the already owning a bunch of 7* restriction on buying the Incursions crystal. Did they mention the same thing for the Loyalty one because it sounded like it only applies to Incursions which is strange to me?
That's just the way the incursions store has always worked.

No different than the restrictions on existing incursion crystals
I won't be buying them crystals as they're way overpriced but if I did I'd probably be looking to pull Hulkbuster or Black Cat. The loyalty crystal pool is very poor imo especially considering the amount of loyalty its bound to cost. Incursion pool is good, though. Just a shame they all need a dupe really, bar HB

They done the exact same thing for 6* crystals and 5* crystals in incursions store
There’s already so much content to do that most people like myself just stopped bothering with incursions, I really dont want to have to grind it just for a chance at an unduped beardo but the fact hed be great for BGs unduped is reeling me in. Kabams marketing tactics...

Apart from usual additions in the update from loyalty, incursion, titan crystals, new champs and platpool, i see two new hidden ones that don't fall in any of that category.
Spider Ham and Jabari Panther. It would be cool to get them but what is the source?

I noticed that im still scratching my head on how they are getting a 7 but can be fun to play both as a 7 especially ham as the boosted health a little more survivability
Dude, yes! Someone in my alliance "laughed" at me because I R5'd Aarkus awhile back. Like, dude is no slouch on offense if you play him right. Plus, everyone underestimates him, so he gets a fair amount of kills on defense as well.

The Incursion Crystals always had restrictions, didn't they? I may have forgotten since I've been in the highest sector for ages, but thought stuff in the store was also tied to your progress (like how you couldn't do certain sectors until you had a certain amount of 5/6* Champs)?
The biggest concern for me is the cost of the incursion crystal. 400k is a lot of artifacts to collect. This month it *may* be possible to get one with the Cap Enlistment event but what about future months? Is there always going to be an event to acquire extra artifacts? The fact they put a cap on it and you can only get 1 per month gives me slight hope you may be able to get one a month by just grinding incursions normally, but that seems too generous. I guess we’ll see in a few hours when we can math it out.

Depends on who you ask. Whales who spend money on paragon crystals and open a ton of 6* can definitely get multiple 7* a month, not to mention constant offers that sell 7* shards.
For the incursions crystal, there’s just artifacts you collect from incursions, that’s it. There’s usually no additional source to collect artifacts, whereas 7* shards come from multiple sources, including offers.

The math is NOT mathing — literally makes NO sense.

All in all, yes, the pattern doesn't repeat. But the cost is still increasing (between rarities), and honestly could have been a lot more. They are also providing a way through solo objectives to obtain 155k artifacts next month, and have promised to increase the normal room rewards for artifacts, 6* shards, and 7* shards (unless I'm completely losing it). Not saying that it doesn't bug the OCD part of my brain, but it isn't that crazy.
Also, just wanted to pile on that I am actually pretty pumped for the incursions crystal, but the loyalty crystal still has some bangers. "All trash" = someone might need to get corrective lenses.
I bought em 1x because I was 100 or 125 7* shards away from popping one^^^

If a 6* AG Crystal cost 1Mil & a 6* Unstoppable Colossus ( who sucks ) cost 1.6Mil, can you imagine the cost of the 7* guys lol. I’ll take a guess, maybe between 3Mil-5Mil, maybe even higher

You can get two crystals every five months if you collect all artifacts from sectors 4, 5 and 6. That's not counting any additional artifacts we might get from crystals, events, tasks, etc...
I'm sure we haven't seen the end of ways to obtain artifacts, because you do make a valid point in saying the limit of 1 a month doesn't make sense if we can't even obtain one every month. I'm sure that limit is just supposed to be tied to the incursion cycle though, but who knows.
Both pools are, well, mediocre trash. With the exception of BC. We re at 2023, and we get 2018 champs that have nothing to do with current, future, and 2 years ago meta. The fact that they have upgraded specs because they re 7 stars don't change the fact that they re trashy.
I disagree as about half of these champs are really good. A 7* angela would have crazy high damage basic attacks. Mojo and Hulkbuster are 2 of my favorite champs in game as both have really high damage and utility. Mojo does get much better with a dupe as it gives him more damage but HB really doesn't need it (its just pretty useful for sustainability in incursions or questing). Storm and Mordo would also be really powerful and a duped void would be really good too.
If I can get a 7 star angela and somehow awaken her, it would a god send for incursions. Imagine a 7 star sig 20 anglea with the oden and galan prefights doing incursion with the proper hacks like buff Cornucopia. It would make incursions very easy. Monthly quest and side quest would be easier as well. Not sure if she will be fast enough in BG but I would love to try her out.

For the incursions crystal, there’s just artifacts you collect from incursions, that’s it. There’s usually no additional source to collect artifacts, whereas 7* shards come from multiple sources, including offers.
3* incursions crystal = 3,000 artifacts
4* incursions crystal = 9,000 artifacts (3* cost x 3)
5* incursions crystal = 27,000 artifacts (4* cost x 3)
6* incursions crystal = 81,000 artifacts (5* cost x 3)
7* incursions crystal = 400,000 artifacts (6* cost x 4.938)
