Who to Prioritise for R4 - Paralysed by Choice

I've been insanely lucky with a recent run of pulls which has left me with choice-paralysis in that I cannot figure out who to prioritise for my first R4 Rankups.

I currently have a bunch of R3 champs and am making my Paragon push, so looking at who to prioritise for thsoe first 4 R4 Rankups, and also who will help me with 7.3 and 7.4.

I do have a duped Hercules - is he the obvious choice? Or is he a case of "he can do just fine at R3 for a while, prioritise others first"? If he's the obvious, then who would you focus on after him?

Champs marked with a * are woke - while I do have a couple of generic awakening gems, I have very few sig stones so anyone who needs to be woke AND max/high sig are probably not viable for a while. But if anyone's a good candidate for one of those gems, I'm keen to hear it, as well.

    IMO Herc is a great candidate for r4, but he works quite well at r3 as he is. Imma get a lot of hate for this, but I think NF is a better r4 candidate. When awakened, he's just a beast, and is great not just for questing, but for different gamemodes like BGs as well.

    I mean Herc but that's kinda boring.

    I'd personally probably go Doom from this list. Doom benefits a lot from the rank up because of the increased combat power rate, meaning its easier to cycle (and double cycle) the higher rank he is.

    Or whatever champ you like the most.

    Herc is fine at R3 for now, I’d pick Apoc or dr doom as they both are very versatile and will help clear content. But all of the ones you listed are solid choices as well

    I actually have them all except apoc and cap at r4, all are great champs

    I just finished my paragon run last week. I actually didnt use Herc all that much but there is a lot of confidence in having a r4 Herc sig 200 in my team if i needed.

    I have all your listed champs as r3 or r4. The ones i used most from your list was Doom, Human Torch and Nimrod. If you have all 3 at r3 then i think Human Torch needs the r4 to compensate for his low defense and health. All the others can tank hits and deal with chip damage.

    Human Torch will also help with Kang. Kang has 4 phases and you complete missions to remove his armour and keep hitting him till his health is zero. You have to do this 4 times total. With human torch, once the armor is removed and he is paralyzed, you can finish him off in one go to conplete a phase. With lots of other champs including Herc, i took 2 turns to KO his first phase. Worth the investment

    CGR was my first R4 and first R5, he doesn't disappoint!
