Help defeating Captain Britain in Thronebreaker EQ?

So I'm trying to 100% Thronebreaker for the first time, since the Paragon Gauntlet Rewards are so good. And, well some paths/fights I'm finding more difficult than others.

This Captain Britain in EQ 2.2 right before Baron Zemo, I am just getting absolutely obliterated and I'm having a hard time figuring out what I should do.

Its especially tricky for me since Captain Britain is not a character that I have ever once had a problem fighting. In fact, they're so easy, I'm pretty unfamiliar with their kit.

I read it, and I just can't wrap my head around what's happening. I try to do a couple of hits, then she already has a SP1, she uses it and I evade but I'm already dead.

    I forget the exact nodes for that fight, but I know I brought Nimrod. You don't always have to bring Champs that benefit from the Cav nodes.

    If I have to restart then I’ll restart. Used a few revives already but they were only on Cap Britain. This lane has been brutal for me though.

    I think I used Apoc but you can always bring in white mags pre-fight for the parry to stick with any champs. I think when you build some power, you then knock her down to get the unblockable and throw your special.
    I prefer to push her to special 2 as her special one is harder to dex. I try to push her into her corner so I have more space to avoid her specials.

    Yeah I was wondering if I should try someone else. Kitty was just my MVP for all lanes with these nodes (and also MVP against Zemo).

    I’m just so unfamiliar with fighting her lol. I never thought I’d see the day where I was using multiple revives and not putting a scratch on her.

    As for the method of attack mentioned - when I was using Kitty I’d knock her down, rush in and try to get as many prowess and furies while I’m attacking her in unblockable - I’ll get a few hits in and then she immediately does her SP1 and I’m dead even if I don’t get hit. Is Colossus maybe the better option then?

    He worked well for this path on the “easy” defenders that have easy specials to bait like Cull Obsidian, since he’s only a 5* the fights take a really long time and I didn’t use him against anyone that had a tricky specials since all it takes is a couple hits and he’s a goner.

    Ok great!

    So i’ll suggest using the practice mode to practice evade on her sp1. I myself get clipped to it sometimes, cuz it has tricky timing. Also you can do 4 hit block and push her to sp2

    Fun fact: this was the first time I ever even used the practice feature. I didn’t even realize/remember it was there. My Captain Britain is such a low rank/level though so it wasn’t too effective.

    But I did notice two things: one, when I’m fighting her in the EQ, she almost has a pink aura shock wave effect that goes with the SP1 animation and it feels like that’s what’s killing me. She’s not doing it in the practice mode and I can easily dex both her first move and the psionic sword throw.

    If she’s going into a certain mode or state before she’s doing it, I can’t make that happen, possible because if I play too aggressively I kill her before she can throw a special at me.

    Alright, done!

    Used a few more revives than I’d have liked to admit (more than I’ve used on any of the Zemo fights which usually require none or just one).

    I don’t know how you guys do Thronebreaker difficulty every month! I certainly wouldn’t have the resources to do it.
