Why can't I join certain battlegroups in Alliance War?

Check to see if your defenders are in another battlegroup

It's not a persistent issue. I had the same issue, which was fixed three days later

Cannot place defenders in group 2, but yes on group 3 and 1, please solve

I have placed, replaced, rereplaced defenders in a variety of AW Bg's. No joy joining to fight in same or other Bg's.

I havent fought since day 1 oc this war, but I still get rewards, I assume it is since defenders are placed, but idk that 4 sure.

I had a similar issue. But what I found was that someone had removed their defence from the current map in order to let me place mine. So it was showing 9/10 players. But they hadn't removed from the difficulty below map, so when I was trying to place my defence the continue button just wasn't doing anything. Worth checking incase an alliance member has theirs in the below/higher difficulty map still.

You don't need to fight in war to get rewards, as long as you place defenders, you will get rewards. You can also get rewards for fighting and not place defenders. I have done both in the off season, it's been like this for awhile now.
