How to make the Caps Commissary Event better

Keep in mind the game relies on revenues and the company needs to make money for the game to survive. Let's put some helpful suggestions together to make future events fun and without so much of a negative backlash.
1. Have all information at once, not dropped over 3 days. This lets people plan and decide how much they want to participate. This event has AQ for points, now if we get to the third date drop and it takes me close to a milestone, I'd be kicking myself for not participating.
2. The gold offers were actually decent. Rank 1 to 4 gems for gold allows many people to obtain, also they could be bought independently and if you didn't have the gold you had enough days to grind.
3. Milestone rewards. I think having the majority of the player base not achieving some milestones brings negativity. Even if there were smaller rewards between existing milestones, it wouldn't seem as bad as it does today. That way the player base feel like they've progressed or achieved something for participating. Also with times being financially difficult, people want to know what they will get for spending, the event didn't help make that transparent so probably lost you revenue. Examples of mini rewards could be 10k gold, mini AQ or AW energy, 5 arena crystals etc. If you felt generous, a 6 star nexus at the milestone point of the gold offers plus f2p activity such as AQ fights would have appeased majority.
4. Final milestone reward. You've offered a 7 star crystal for Cavs which is amazing. Now think about how that makes the other progression levels feel. There should be a reason to move up and rewards should reflect. I would suggest leaving cav as it was. Thronebreaker give 5k titan shards (titan crystal would be too much) alternatively a 7 star basic nexus, then paragon give them civil warrior. Why? The people at the top are collectors and likely to have all champs, so they'd go for that. The people below would want 7 stars, so they have the option of going for the standard crystal or get closer to a titan or choice of 3 7 star.
5. Exclusive crystals were expensive for what they were and if you had the champs already then why would you want them again? Easy fix would be to change 4 star into 5 star and 5 star into 6 star. 2.2k units for exclusive 5 stars... which you might already have, unlocking the 6 star for 1.1k more so that's 3.3k for a single 6 star. If I remember correctly, vision was sold for 6k without a dupe so reasonable value considering 7 stars are now in. You might have even got away with charging a bit more here with the changes.
6. AQ tickets. The AQ tickets for gold wasn't a great deal compared to what I got them for... but considering maps are free then it's great to get something back for the tickets which are now worthless. Therefore I thought this was decent.
7. More exchanges. Awakening gem for sig stones was ok, but it was only for the 6 star. Give people something to do, even if it's not great value, to trade in stuff they're hoarding. Now the awakening gem exchanges in the past were great, even a 3 sig stones for 1 generic were something. This wasn't economy breaking but gave an opportunity for people to get involved and participate.
8. Put the event at the beginning of September. It's the mid point between July 4 and cyber weekend. Towards the end of September the focus goes into cyber weekend and curbs spending. Therefore should tailor the money offers and timing of the event accordingly. I wasn't tempted by any of the money offers. One because I didn't see the value and second I didn't know how close it would take me to the final milestone.
Anything else feel free to add. Just want to be part of the change I'd like to see.

That being said, I do agree with you about milestone rewards. I loved the banquet event approach to it where everyone could reach a certain level, and then the whales could reach their own. That was great. I don't care if the whales get the top rewards, it just sucks when they get ALL rewards.
9. Give fair warning about the event like you do with side quests. This would have allowed people to hoard, possibly utilise the BG store to get some shards too (90k in 3 weeks). I like that there were shards for units in the store which helps for monetisation and 30k shards in milestones. The offer itself was fair as a trade in. So with 120k shards via grinding, 45k extra for 3333 units in the store, or just over an Odin, would be fair for a 7 star considering Morbius was a third of the price.
10. If it is stated that there are points aligned to actions, ensure they contribute towards the event milestones.
