Act 6 tips

I’ve been playing the game for nearly a year now but act 6 is kicking my butt
I know paragons and throne-breakers might not care about act 6 now but I would appreciate any tips for getting past it

Well we can't say where the issue is. Skill issue? not using right champs for the path/boss? Focus on event quest/side quest so you can develop your roster and farm units/revievs/pots for acts.

I've always found these guides by MCOC blog to be extremely helpful, I never go into story quests without looking at these first. They give you info on the easy path in the quests, a good list of champions to bring for the path and the boss and provide a video for you to see.

Act 6 is tough, lot of unpleasant nodes and the grandmaster boss is a very challenging fight, but just take it slow, make sure you bring the right champs, and always have plenty of units and revives on had and you'll get through it. And note that Act 7 is significantly more enjoyable and easier, so you'll have that to look forward to

What's not helpful - you're not giving us information of what you're actually struggling with.

    Which map(s) in particular?
    Which champion(s)?
    Which node(s)?

    Who are you using?
    Who are your other options?

There's nothing we can help you with until you give more information.

PantherusNZ my problem is ****ing nodes

Then you either wait til you pull good counters for the node (which btw for some of them you need counters or else there's no way in hell you're getting through like 6.2 Sinister) or you learn to play around the nodes by trying over and over again until you get the hang of it. That is the only way, we all went through that, if you're expecting a different answer you won't find one unless you specifically tell people which node and which defender on which quest.

Gotta love how you still give 0 insight as to what nodes you're struggling with

I hace read the nodes over and over and main node is the global one in 6.2.4 (don’t remember it)

By far the most annoying node I encountered was lifecycle. Icarus and backblast were less of a pain. Watch Mcoc noob, he helps tremendously

6.2.4 is destructive feedback. When the shield is up, defender takes no damage but it is stored. If the defender makes contact with you (includes blocking) damage is reflected back

But make sure you have revives for mordo, champion, Medusa, cap and grandmaster

For destructive feedback just intercept while the shield is up if you're not good at it, use someone who can break blocks or deal damage just by hitting on block like Hulkling and Valk, or just dex while the shield is up and don't hit them at all, that way even if you miss a dex or block a hit no damage will be reflected to you. Plenty of ways to play around that node.

Destructive feedback wasn't that difficult tbh (finished it today). You just need to make sure of 2 things:
    1. Dex like your life depends on it.
    2. Keep hitting even when the shield is up and dont you dare let the defender touch you during that time window.
PS: You will want to get used to it, because frankly speaking 6.2.5 Mordo was hella annoying, comparison to everything up until 6.2.5. I went the entire run without a problem, but had to use 2 team revives to shut him down for good. I really hate that dude. And he acts weird on my phone.
