People rank up Champs just for BG? lol, sounds dumb
Ofc the top whales will do, but they rank up everything for their 10 million Champ rating anyway.
If you are not part of that exclusive whale club, you shouldn’t rank up trash.
I’m f2p and I only play a couple hours a day max and I rank champs exclusively for battlegrounds. A lot of people do lol. Those champs are rarely trash unless they’re just exclusively defenders, but they’re worth the resources for war too. You don’t have to be a whale to do this at all
Battlegrounds isn’t a perfect game mode, but it’s one of their best imo. Obviously not everyone will enjoy it, but I find it super fun to play against others and use a lot of champs that I don’t use in story content/other game modes.
You only need 2 wins daily with elder marks to hit 450k+ Very easy.
Not tru that would get you around 300k
Do the math again and count the alliance point system.
you are correct that his math is wrong... but btw the points should be calculated using the solo BG event... a win with elder marks = 6750 points... 450,000/6750 = 66.67 (67)... divided by 28 days (length of season) you only need 2.4 wins a day to hit all the milestones (450k)

The best rewards BY FAR are in BGs, so if you dont enjoy them, you will fall back severely, so since the game right now is like "Or you play BGs or you spend money to catch them", and also, since they are focusing on BGs, the rest of the game is falling back with rewards and updates, and this is done on purpose since they want to focus on BG.
He just stated some facts, the thing is, you can quit or try to deal with it, I personally dont enjoy BGs that much, but the effort is worth it I guess

That may be true, but it's also a competition. Not just a vehicle for Rewards. Which means having to compete for them isn't really a major issue.

This was not the major point you were making previously. In this case you are correct that bgs is the place with the best rewards
The vicious circle: Why play bgs? To get best rewards Why get best rewards? To better play bgs.
The slippery slope: If I'm not interested in bgs and the rewards don't enhance my casual play, do i really need rewards at all? If i don't need rewards at all, why am i playing? If I'm playing just to collect heroes cause I'm a marvel stan but know i can just buy them in a crystal one every other month, how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
The BGs rewards this season specifically are higher than they have been in the past and will be in the future. It is an anniversary event for the mode. We have had months where other modes got the spotlight, such as incursions.
The way this game is run is that you can do the cutting edge, top of the food chain stuff now and get the rewards first, or you can usually do different stuff later and get those same rewards (think Abyss being the first real source of t5cc, which has been absolutely everywhere for a long time now).
If your specific alliance is making you play BGs, that’s on the alliance, not the game. But it makes sense that the game would spotlight different modes at different times.
Why can't the WIN points for both energy & Elder Marks be same? That would do Justice for both Players & people can easily hit the Milestones too

Well, i don’t love BG either…first 2 seasons i got to the VC…then had a loooong break, and started playing mcoc again late this summer. No ambitions, P1 season 10, Vib3 last season, but it was nice to start in P2 yesterday and collect enough chips for an R4 upgrade of Apoc.
Played 8.3.1 to 8.3.5 today, and smelled a bit of the boss. (Didn't read the nodes and brought champs without strikers...that was smart...lol...he'll go down rested tomorrow).
Anyway, breaks are good, if it's not fun - then take a break...it's a game, on your mobile, give your head and thumbs some free time, go out with the guys, talk to a pretty lady, take a break.
Competitive game mode calls for competitive rewards. The rewards aren’t the issue, and if your alliance is putting you down for not meeting the req, need a new alliance since you yourself know you dont like the game mode. Put less strain on yourself and dont feel forced to do something. The game is for fun at the end of the day. That being said there are many issues with BGs atm ao i dont blame you for disliking it. I too dislike the way its set up currently.
