Kabam should take a better look at the matchmaking mechanism to make it fair for everyone, both beginners and average players, and veterans too

    Who said competitions were fair?
That's exactly why the quit button exists, kabam won't ban anyone who does this normally, it will do this to anyone who gives up on 50 matches in a row, as already happens
Ok.. and this is related to their need to look into matchmaking how?

Now if you just give up for the sake of giving up, for example every 10 matches you give up two, that won't change anything because it won't be affecting anyone directly.

If you're quitting twice every ten matches and you happen to be doing it right before you move up in ranks, yes you will get banned lol.

I think it is all good to forfeit, since we use different strategies, however, if Kabam does not want us to forfeit a match, why dont they just remove the option to do so? 🤨

There's a big difference in forfeiting a match on a rare occasion because of genuine circumstances versus doing it repeatedly to try to game the matchmaking system. I've had to forfeit before because something in real life happened that required immediate attention. Others have forfeited to try to find easier matches
If irl stuff happens, then just put your phone down or close the app and take care of it. No need to forfeit.

Perfect, I'm glad someone's willing to risk getting their account banned for scientific purposes lol

No it doesn't count. What's most likely happening is they're Tanking to farm Points for the Milestones, and best of luck to them. Kabam is taking action on it this Season.

    Does it really matter?
If u win, u move up in ranking till u get to a point where u start matching against players as good or better than u.
So does it matter if u lose at a lower tier or higher tier???

Yes, it matters. The Players on the bye side are not earning their Wins, and end up higher than they belong in many cases. The Players who are easy kills are also affected. Meanwhile, those Players who have been given byes are hit later on when the Tanking Players are making their final stretch to the GC.
The entire system depends on progress through honest effort. Any manipulation of it is bad for the overall results.
Then there's the expectation that Players develop from hitting all the Milestones easier than intended over time.
There are layers that are affected by this. There's a whole misconception that everyone wins from this, but that's not the case.
